Anisha Grover
BSc (Hons.), MA, and PsyD Student
Student Therapist

Anisha is a fourth-year student completing her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She earned her BScH from Queen’s University and her MA in Clinical Psychology en route through her doctoral program. She has completed clinical placements in hospital, university counseling, and private practice settings, working across the lifespan.
Anisha’s professional interests center around providing both therapy and assessment for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Anisha has worked with clients from diverse backgrounds and has helped them navigate anxiety, depression, self-esteem difficulties, interpersonal challenges, life transitions, and trauma. She is particularly attentive to the ways identity-based experiences can influence mental health and welcomes conversations about culture, race, gender, religion, sexuality, and other aspects of identity that are meaningful to the client.
In addition to therapy, Anisha has a strong interest in psychological assessments and helping individuals and families better understand their strengths, challenges, and patterns of functioning. She approaches assessment as an opportunity for greater self-understanding rather than simply a process of assigning a diagnosis.
Her clinical style is informed by feminist, multicultural, cognitive-behavioural (CBT), emotion-focused (EFT), and relational-cultural (RCT) perspectives. She believes that therapy is a collaborative process and takes a warm, culturally responsive, and person-centred approach. She strives to create an authentic space where clients feel seen, respected, and comfortable, viewing the therapeutic relationship as foundational for meaningful change.
