Pascale Lacroix
BSc (Hons.), M.Sc. PhD Student
Student Therapist (Intervention Practicum Student)

Pascale is a PhD student in Clinical Psychology at Toronto Metropolitan University. She completed her MSc in Clinical Science and Psychopathology at Western University in 2026, and her BSc Honours in Psychology at Mount Allison University in 2024. At her core, Pascale believes that no emotion is inherently good or bad–every emotion serves a purpose–but parents don’t always know how to help their children through them, even when they try their best. Her work focuses on helping families communicate and work through difficulty together.
She has spent time with children, adolescents, and young adults with diverse needs across a variety of settings – as a reading tutor, as a support person for children with developmental disabilities, as a bilingual crisis responder, and as leader of a peer-led wellness program for undergraduate students. Recently, she has gained experience administering psychoeducational assessments to children living with chronic pain at the London Health Sciences Centre.
Pascale will draw on Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Emotion Focused Family Therapy for Youth (EFT-Y), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She takes a strengths-based approach in both her research and clinical work, and is committed to providing care that is equitable and inclusive for children, adolescents, and families.
