Yuval counseled students and families for over 20 years in his role as a school principal, before transitioning into his role in psychology. He has worked as a therapist at CBT Psychology for Personal Development for three years, seeing clients struggling with Depression, Anxiety, Phobias, OCD, Trauma/emotional/verbal abuse, ADHD, Emotional Regulation, Bi-Polar Disorder, and Borderline Personality Disorder. He uses evidence-based techniques including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Emotion-Focused Family Therapy, among others. Yuval conceptualizes client cases using his Psychodynamic orientation training, which considers critical elements of past family relationships and how they contribute to who we are today.
Yuval has completed the coursework for his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fielding Graduate University in California.
Yuval prides himself on working collaboratively with clients to create realistic goals. His clients say that he is empathic and a good listener. When he is not seeing clients, he enjoys biking, running, listening to classical music, playing chess, and spending time with his wife, 8 children, and 4 grandchildren.
