Tamanna is a dedicated and compassionate practitioner and integrates a trauma-informed care approach, fostering healing and transformation. With a solid academic background in psychology and neuroscience from the University of Toronto, and pursuit of a Master’s degree in Psychology, Tamanna deeply appreciates the intricate connection between the mind and body. She has recently registered with the College of Psychotherapists and holds RP(Q) status.
Tamanna’s therapeutic style is rooted in a strength-based, client-centred approach that emphasizes collaboration and empowerment. To assist clients in achieving their goals, Tamanna utilizes an integrative approach that combines various evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), and Adlerian psychotherapy. This comprehensive strategy allows Tamanna to tailor the treatment to individual needs and enhance the overall therapeutic process for her clients.
