DOCTORAL ASSOCIATE
Damian holds a Master of Arts degree in School and Clinical Child Psychology from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto and is currently a Senior Doctoral student in the same field. He has previously practiced at the Garry Hurvitz Centre for Community Mental Health at SickKids Hospital. With specialized training in relational psychodynamic therapy, Damian provides comprehensive care and guidance, recognizing the importance of relationships to mental well-being.
At Family Psychology Centre, Damian provides clinical consultation and treatment for children, teens, and families. He provides psychotherapy to individual youth as well as parent coaching and family therapy. Damian’s doctoral research focuses on mental health literacy in educational contexts, bridging the gap between mental health knowledge and practical implementation to ensure students receive timely support. Through his contributions to scholarly journals and conferences, Damian aims to inspire others to join the cause of improving mental health literacy and fostering nurturing environments for students.
