Dr. Angela Massey-Garrison

SUPERVISING CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST
Dr. Angela Massey-Garrison is a registered clinical and school psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Toronto and completed her residency with the Toronto Area Residency Consortium. She has held positions in a variety of private practice, educational, and community settings. Additionally, her background in teaching has provided her with a unique perspective on the learning challenges and associated social emotional difficulties that children and adolescents face.
Currently, Dr. Massey-Garrison serves as a supervising clinical psychologist at Family Psychology Centre. She works in private practice in Belleville, Ontario, providing assessments and therapy for children and adolescents experiencing a range of presenting issues, such as learning challenges, anxiety, phobias, depression, stress, interpersonal conflict, and behavioural challenges. She employs a collaborative approach to therapy and provides a warm and compassionate environment to meet the needs of children, adolescents, and their families. She uses evidence-based approaches, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT).
