Alyssa is currently completing her Honours Bachelor of Arts at the University of Waterloo, whereshe is studying Psychology with a Research-Intensive Specialization and Legal Studies, alongside a minor in Neuroscience.

Alyssa is passionate about making mental health information accessible and helping bridge the gap between psychological research and the communities it is intended to support. She also has a strong interest in media and content creation and enjoys finding creative ways to communicate psychological concepts in ways that are engaging and approachable.

As FPC’s Community Outreach Coordinator, she supports initiatives that connect the Centre with families and the broader community. Her role includes creating educational social media content, coordinating community outreach initiatives, and assisting with the promotion of events and programs.
