At Family Psychology Centre, I provide therapy to children, youth, parents, and families struggling with a range of emotional and behavioural regulation difficulties, including trauma, anxiety, ADHD, depression and parent-child dyad concerns. I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focused Therapy for Families (EFT-F), Emotion Focused Therapy for Youth (EFT-Y), as well as elements from motivational interviewing (MI) and play-based relational therapies.
I am in the final stages of completing my Ph.D. in Clinical-Developmental Psychology, with additional specialized training in Clinical Neuropsychology. I completed my residency at the Family Psychology Centre, as well as held positions at the Toronto District School Board (TDSB), Kindercare Pediatrics, and the Comprehensive Pediatric Epilepsy Program at McMaster Children’s Hospital. Additionally, I conducted program evaluation for Autism Ontario and was a mentor for the Autism Spectrum Disorders Mentorship Program (AMP) at York University for a number of years. My research interests include investigating suicide risk factors in adults with epilepsy.
Whether providing consultation, assessment, or therapy, I am dedicated to providing a warm, empathetic, and nurturing environment for my clients. I aim to foster a non-judgemental, collaborative, and safe therapeutic space, where the client’s unique needs are fully understood, achievable treatment goals are set, and progress is monitored closely through ongoing communication.
