Nadine is a Senior Doctoral Associate in the final stages of her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Memorial University of Newfoundland, where she
earned a master’s degree in developmental psychology in 2018. She has received training with children, adolescents, families, and adults across public and private settings. Experiences at the Child/Adolescent and Adult Outpatient Mental Health Divisions at Eastern Health (St. John’s NL), the Newfoundland and Labrador Eastern School District, and private practices in Newfoundland and Labrador and Nova Scotia have enriched her training. She completed her pre-doctoral residency at Dr. Angela Fountain and Associates in Oshawa, ON.
At the Family Psychology Centre, Nadine provides Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and draws from her experience in many other evidence-based interventions to assist families, children, youth, and adults facing a spectrum of issues, including anxiety, OCD, depression, relational difficulties, behavioural challenges, and ADHD. She also conducts developmental and comprehensive assessments for individuals experiencing neurodevelopmental, learning, and socio-emotional challenges. In her practice, Nadine is deeply attuned to the multifaceted experiences of her clients, striving to foster greater self-awareness, resilience, and emotional well-being within individuals and families.Nadine has also received recognition for her mathematics anxiety research. She earned the J. Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship – Masters and the Canada Graduate Scholarship – Doctoral from Canada Social Science and Humanities Research Council. She received the designation as a Fellow of the School of Graduate Studies at Memorial University.
