PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATE

Nicole is a registered Psychological Associate in Supervised Practice with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She completed her B.Ed in Education, BA. in Psychology, and Master of Arts in Educational and Developmental Psychology in Ireland, where she practiced as a psychologist. Nicole has held positions across health care, disability, educational and private practice settings in Ireland and Australia. She has further training through a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and training in Emotion Coaching. Nicole brings a collaborative and supportive approach to her work with children, adolescents, and families. She provides developmental assessments to young people of all ages with learning, attentional, developmental, and socio-emotional challenges as well as intervention and support services. Nicole is also skilled and experienced in conducting comprehensive ASD assessments for children and young people. She has extensive experience in the delivery of standardized and diagnostic assessments, as well as interventions for a variety of difficulties such as anxiety, OCD, depression, relational/attachment issues, trauma, social, emotional, and behavioural problems, ASD, ADHD, school refusal, intellectual and learning disabilities. Nicole also implements a range of evidence-based treatment approaches, including emotion focused approaches (EFT, EFFT) as appropriate for each individual’s needs and the parent-child relationship.
