Evgenia is a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario, holding a Bachelor’s degree from York University and a Graduate Level Diploma with a Professional Art Therapist designation (DTATI) from the Toronto Art Therapy Institute.

As the Art Therapy Practice Lead at FPC, Evgenia assists clients from all walks of life, using art not only as a therapeutic modality, but as a way of facilitating effective communication and connection with others and within themselves. Evgenia’s approach combines the creative process with psychotherapy and self-exploration, offering an alternative to traditional talk therapy when needed.

Evgenia holds the esteemed position of Clinical Trainer with the International Society of Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), training and supervising therapists in the practice of EFT for youth, parent-child dyads, coparents, and families. Evgenia has held positions at SickKids Community Center for Mental Health and Hamilton-based Anderson Therapy Services. She provides therapy for anxiety, emotion and behaviour dysregulation, Autism, ADHSD, family and social difficulties, as well as mood concerns.

As a psychotherapist, Evgenia provides clinical consultation, assessment and treatment for children, youth, and families, offering elements of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Mindfulness in her practice. She is passionate about working through an relationship-based, holistic lens with clients and their families with grounding in person-centred therapy from a strength-based perspective.
