CHILD AND FAMILY THERAPIST
After attaining his Bachelor’s degree from the University of British Columbia and working for several years in the film and television industry, Aaron gained experience providing support to children and youth. Since 2010, he has worked with young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, anxiety disorders, executive functioning disorders and undiagnosed behaviour challenges. Aaron utilizes Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Applied Behaviour Analysis to help youth find success at home, school, and in their social lives. Aaron’s extensive background visual arts, music, and athletics facilitate effective therapeutic relationships with young people and allow flexibility in the modes of expression that appeal to clients.
Aaron is currently completing his Master’s of Psychology at Adler Graduate Professional School and has joined the Family Psychology Centre team in the role of student therapist, providing cognitive behavioural therapy and supportive counselling to children and adolescents under the supervision of registered Clinical Psychologists.
