Dylan Johnson

Dylan is a doctoral trainee at the University of Toronto/OISE where he received his Master of Arts degree in School and Clinical Child Psychology in 2021 and his Master of Science in Epidemiology and Community Medicine in 2018. He has held positions at York Region District School Board (YRDSB) and The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) Better Behaviours Service. Dylan provides clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to children and families. He provides several modalities of treatment, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) as well as Modular Approach to Therapy for Children with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, or Conduct Problems (MATCH-ADTC). Dylan has experience providing treatment in child, parent, dyadic, and group-based settings. He served as a course instructor in Developmental Psychopathology at the University of Toronto. Dylan currently holds the Frederick Banting and Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarship, which supports research that he has been conducting to explore the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on children and families. Additional areas of research include early-life adversity and etiological investigation into health and social determinants of psychopathology.
