Christopher Singleton is a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology at Memorial University of Newfoundland. He has experience in the assessment and treatment of children, youth, adults, and families. He has trained in school, community, and hospital settings.

Christopher helps individuals with a number of concerns including anxiety, depression, oppositional behaviour, social challenges (e.g., shyness, bullying), and parenting-related issues. In addition, he has a particular interest in working with children and families impacted by development-related issues such as autism spectrum disorder, intellectual and learning disabilities, as well as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. He has conducted research exploring adolescent substance use, university student mental health, and change mechanisms in psychological treatment for binge eating disorder.

Christopher hopes to collaborate with children, adolescents, and families to address areas of difficulty, build upon strengths, and improve wellbeing. He often uses cognitive-behavioural, emotion-focused, and attachment/psychodynamic approaches in clinical work.
