Angela completed her Bachelor of Science (Honours) at the University of Guelph in psychology, with a minor in neuroscience. She is currently applying to complete her Master's in clinical psychology, and has a keen interest in integrating cognitive neuroscience concepts and a disability lens in developing clinical treatment interventions. In her writing, she hopes to contribute to translating psychology research into accessible formats for all interested readers.

Assistive Technology

Assistive technology is a common recommendation following psychoeducational assessment for learning disabilities and many other learning challenges. Despite how commonly it is recommended, however, it can be confusing for both parents and students to understand its purpose and how it might support students in the classroom.
