Larissa Panett

Larissa has extensive experience providing thorough psychological assessments, including psycho-educational, developmental, cognitive, socio-emotional, and complete 360 assessments. She has specialized training in gold standard assessment instruments for Autism Spectrum Disorder. She also provides consultation and treatment, taking a collaborative approach to supporting children, adolescents, parents, and families. . Larissa incorporates evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and play therapy into psychotherapeutic work with children and families struggling with emotional, behavioural, and relational challenges.
Larissa has completed her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology (2017) and is currently an upper-year Doctoral student in the Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology program at the University of Guelph. Her doctoral research focuses on strengthening the attachment relationship between parents and children. She is also a Certified Teacher in Ontario with a Bachelor of Education from Queen’s University. Her previous clinical training has taken place at the Centre for Psychological Services at the University of Guelph, the Toronto District School Board, and the Oshawa Psychological & Counselling Services.
